Attention all beginner and intermediate beekeepers!
(or just people who are interested in bees!)
This course will provide you with the basic concepts and management practices for starting and maintaining a colony of bees. The course meets once a week for 5 weeks starting at the Oregon Ridge Nature Center, Shawan Rd. Cockeysville, MD.
An active Baltimore Co. teacher, public or private? You are eligible for a full refund when you complete the course. We want our kids to know about bees, too! Ask for more information at email@example.com
Note: You must pre-register for this course to allow for the printing of the manual. See below for “HoneyBee Night”.
Download the current 2015 Short Course registration form and return it to the included snail mail address. Costs and dates for the course are on this registration sheet. (Note: The earlier version of this page had incorrect dates. Please verify the schedule.)
Please attend the CMBA HoneyBee Night (Spring Short Course only), an introductory meeting to get your “newbee” questions answered and to register. Note: HoneyBee Night is also the last registration date for the Short Course.
If you are interested in a nucleus hive to start your apiary, please see The CMBA Queens and Nucs page
